Stygian Outer Gods map of weapons: where to start
For an immediate weapon, check the opening street corpse; for the next useful search, head toward the trader and neighboring upper floor. The April 19, 2025 VGTimes walkthrough documents those knife and axe leads. They come from Early Access, so compare the landmarks with your current game before relying on them as unchanged locations.
This is a text location guide, with landmarks you can follow while playing. It contains no invented coordinates, map pins, or claim that every weapon in version 1.0 has been located. Start with the matching area below and stop following an old route if the environment no longer matches.
Opening knife: search the street corpse
In the opening settlement, inspect the corpse in the street for the knife. The walkthrough places this search during Rough Arrival, before progressing through the gate. Use the injured man's building as your nearby orientation point when comparing your surroundings with the original route.
Check the pickup and inventory before moving on, particularly if you were concentrating on the nearby objective. If you already collected the weapon, revisiting the same body is unlikely to solve an unrelated progression problem. If the corpse or interaction differs in your build, record that difference instead of assuming that an invisible item must be present.
Treat the knife as your first location check rather than evidence that every encounter should be fought immediately. Take a moment to understand your equipped item's controls before testing it in a crowded situation. This guide does not supply an unverified damage value or a claim about how many hits a particular enemy requires.
Balcony axe: use the trader as your landmark
Find the trader's house, identified by green lamps in the walkthrough. After leaving it, take the neighboring door on the right, climb the crate to the upper floor, then inspect the balcony for the axe. The guide also describes that axe opening rotten red boards; these details are all from the same Early Access walkthrough.
The useful landmark chain is trader, adjacent doorway, crate, upper floor, balcony. Match that chain instead of searching every balcony in the settlement or assuming a compass direction that the source never supplies. If you cannot find the described climb, compare the building entrance before spending resources elsewhere.
After collecting it, note the route back to the street. If your next objective involves a blocked passage, inspect the actual interaction rather than treating every wooden barrier as identical. Whether every old boarded route behaves the same in version 1.0 remains pending confirmation.
Lighthouse cave: a reported knuckles location
An April–May 2025 Steam discussion describes a hidden cave beneath the lighthouse, approached left toward the water after leaving the elevator. Participants identify the hidden reward as knuckles. This is a player-reported lead from Early Access, with current placement pending confirmation.
The thread describes a three-symbol door mechanism and says the relevant symbols are outside the cave and not visible to ordinary sight. It does not provide a sufficiently verified ordered solution for this guide to publish. Read the nearby clue and investigate the surrounding area instead of accepting an invented universal code.
Use the cave as an optional investigation target once you can recognize the approach. If you only need a weapon immediately, the earlier knife and axe searches offer clearer location instructions. Do not spend an entire session repeatedly testing random combinations on the assumption that a reward report also proves a particular puzzle solution.
Great Axe and H&W Military Police Revolver
Official updates name the Great Axe, while the August 15, 2025 beta announcement names the H&W Military Police Revolver. Neither retrieved note supplies a pickup route. Their exact version 1.0 locations remain pending confirmation, rather than appearing as guessed pins on this page.
The publisher's news archive confirms weapon additions during development. An update adding a weapon establishes its introduction, but does not identify which chest, merchant, enemy, or quest provides it. Avoid conflating a newly added location in the same patch with a confirmed weapon spawn inside that location.
If you are searching specifically for one of these names, keep progressing rather than repeatedly clearing the opening settlement solely because an old guide stops there. Retain the exact name shown by your game when checking newer reports. This page has no verified claim that an older revolver reference necessarily means the H&W variant.
Improvised objects can help before the next pickup
The publisher's June 6, 2025 Alternative Means of Combat diary describes throwing objects such as bottles, chairs, buckets, and crates. It presents them as ways to distract, interrupt, or create an escape opportunity. These are situational tools, rather than fixed weapon-map collectibles with guaranteed permanent inventory slots.
Look at your immediate surroundings before committing to a long search for a firearm. If an object has a usable interaction, consider whether it gives you room to retreat or pass an obstacle. Do not assume every piece of scenery is interactable simply because a similar object appeared in an example.
For broader survival preparation, read the beginner guide. Carrying a newly found weapon does not replace understanding an encounter's space and your available resources. The practical goal is to reach your next objective safely, rather than to collect every weapon before continuing.
Keep DLC equipment separate from world locations
The Heretic's Arsenal Pack is separate downloadable equipment, not a verified list of ordinary base-game drops. Its official description, reproduced by MobyGames, names Bone Axe, Kama, and the Whisperer artifact. The original Steam DLC page was linked by the storefront but could not be retrieved in this update.
Check ownership and installation before searching the world for something advertised as pack content. Exact delivery conditions and in-game acquisition points remain pending confirmation here. This guide does not promise that buying the pack immediately places every item in an existing save.
Do not confuse the pack's Bone Axe with the balcony axe or the separately named Great Axe. A shared weapon category does not make those names interchangeable. Compare the inventory label and source before following an acquisition claim.
